Monday, Aug 31 - Faze Adapt

The boys get into a bizarre story out of Indiana, where a 300-pound lioness and her cub may potentially be roaming somewhere in the middle of the state. Nothing says "normal Monday morning" quite like wondering whether you need to keep an eye out for a lion while driving to work. There's also a new trend involving livestreamers who are heading into places like Alaska where wild grizzly bears are known to be nearby and then, apparently, deciding the best way to make content is to run past them while filming themselves. Because nothing says "I want followers" quite like risking your life for a few thousand views. Meanwhile, a petting zoo in North Carolina is dealing with a serious health situation after four baby goats tested positive for rabies. The situation has involved multiple counties because both children and adults had contact with the goats, meaning health officials have had to determine who may have been exposed and what follow-up treatment might be necessary. Cute little goats are one thing, but apparently they can also turn into a major public health headache. Music fans also have something to look forward to, as Scott Weiland's 2009 live album is finally getting a proper release on CD and streaming services. Scott Weiland Live is scheduled to arrive October 23rd, giving Stone Temple Pilots and Weiland fans another chance to hear the late singer's live performances. In honor of National Matchmaking Day, the boys also break out the Dealbreaker Game, putting some supposedly perfect potential partners through some very questionable scenarios to see what would make listeners say, "Absolutely not." And finally, heavy metal fans have another reason to defend their musical preferences. Researchers studying attendees at a heavy metal festival in Germany found a correlation between listening to live metal music and having a higher tolerance for pain. So apparently getting crushed against the barricade while listening to extremely loud music might actually be preparing you for something.
