7LAA (LAFM) 89.3 FM

89.3 LAFM (callsign 7LAA) is one of Tasmania's oldest commercial voices: 7LA first went to air from Launceston on 14 December 1930, and after nearly eight decades on the AM band the station converted to FM, relaunching in 2008 under the name it carries today.

Owned by ARN and broadcasting an adult contemporary format from York Street studios shared with sister station 90.1 Chilli FM, LAFM covers Launceston on 89.3 MHz with a low-power 100.3 translator in the CBD, and networks much of its programming to Scottsdale's 7SD across northern Tasmania.

English-language and part of a broader Tasmanian ARN family that includes stations in Devonport and Burnie, LAFM streams free online, keeping northern Tasmania's easy-listening sound within reach of locals, mainland listeners and Tasmanian expats further afield - a straightforward live radio listen online, from breakfast to lights-out.
