5EBI 103.1 FM

5EBI 103.1 FM is Adelaide's multicultural community station, born on 3 March 1975 as non-English programmes on 5UV and given its own frequency in 1979 by Adelaide Ethnic Broadcasters Incorporated. It has been the city's language bank ever since.

More than 40 languages go to air each week - Italian, Greek, German, Vietnamese, Chinese and many more - produced by some 200 volunteers from the communities themselves, mixing homeland music, world news and current affairs with the settled rhythms of Australian life in a city of migrants.

A dedicated mobile app and live streaming carry the station beyond the FM footprint, and 2025 marked fifty years of continuous service to South Australia's communities. Free to stream online, 5EBI makes an easy multicultural web radio listen - half a century of many voices, from the markets of Adelaide to everywhere its communities call home.
