Triple J Melbourne

Triple J Melbourne brings the national youth network of the ABC to 107.5 FM in the Victorian capital. Triple j plays what commercial radio will not: new Australian music first, alternative and independent sounds, hip hop, electronic and rock, presented by hosts who actually know the scene and play in it.

The network has defined youth radio in Australia since 1975 - starting as Double Jay in Sydney and spreading to every capital. Its institutions are famous: the Hottest 100 voted by listeners, the Like a Version covers, and the Unearthed platform that turns unknown Australian artists into national names. In Melbourne, with its legendary live music scene in the pubs of Fitzroy and Collingwood, the station feels at home. The live online stream carries the full broadcast to listeners anywhere.
