Rooted Farmers Pricing Tools and Trends with Amelia Ihlo and Kimby Decker

Rooted Farmers Pricing Tools and Trends with Amelia Ihlo and Kimby Decker

Author: Scott Shepherd, Host and Flower Educator February 20, 2023 Duration: 50:30

A conversation about flower farming wouldn't be complete without discussing pricing. Having a pricing structure is vital not only for profit success but as we have discussed many times over the years, pricing can be a major source of stress but with proper structure in place, pricing doesn't have to be a dreaded part of your flower farm.

This is part 2 of my chat with Kimby Decker of Millsap Farm but now we are joined by Amelia Ihlo, Founder of Rooted Farmers to discuss their approach to pricing and how it has evolved over the years. Amelia will also share a little about the new pricing tool and its functions and why they saw a need for it in the flower market. I know these aren't always the most fun conversations, but I love Amelia's helpful attitude and her continuous efforts to make our flower lives more efficient and certainly easier to source and sell flowers.
