5GTR 100.1 FM

5GTR FM 100.1 is the community radio station of Mount Gambier and the surrounding Limestone Coast district of South Australia, broadcasting since 1983. Run by volunteers and living by its slogan It is your choice, it has been part of local life for more than forty years, through good times and hard ones.

The station has moved with the times: from its first home at the Odeon Plaza to the Caledonian Building on Penola Road in the late 80s, and then, with help from the City Council, to its permanent home at 25 Alexander Street in the mid-90s. Through it all, local presenters have kept the programs coming - music of every style, community news and interviews.

Mount Gambier is famous for the Blue Lake, and 5GTR is just as much a local landmark. Community support, donations and local sponsors keep it on air around the clock. Tune to 100.1 FM or listen online - the choice, as ever, is yours.
