Doowop Radio

Doowop Radio bills itself as the place on the internet to hear doo-wop, and the station's own manifesto explains the devotion: the style's captivating lyrics and distinctive vocal group harmony set it apart, an American art form born in the 1950s that never quite let go.

The station leans into that loyalty - a daily schedule of DJ shows, a chat room where the community gathers between songs, a shop for the faithful, and a dedication form for sending a song to someone you love, the old radio ritual preserved online for a new era.

Doo-wop still attracts younger listeners discovering the sound, as the station itself notes, so its audience spans generations of harmony fans. Free to stream online around the clock, it makes an easy oldies web radio listen - street-corner harmonies, falsetto leads and slow-dance singles, from the 1950s to anyone's headphones today.
